Burgershof

Burgershof offers self-catering and Bed & Breakfast accommodation. Nestled in tiny town of Murraysburg in the peaceful Karoo. Kick back in a typical old-world setting tucked away in the lee of hills set in picturesque surroundings that include a scenic mix of mountains and plains – all of which compliment the beautiful old homes, enormous vegetable gardens, and creaking windmills.

This historic 3 bedroom home is one of the originals, built in 1911. It is now elegantly appointed with furnishings of days gone by. Rooms are rented individually to guests. Each is fitted with 1 double bed and 2 single beds, making them ideal for families. There are 2 bathrooms with a shower, toilet, and basin.

Communal areas include a fully-equipped kitchen, dining rooms, and lounge area. In the dining room guests can sit and enjoy a meal, or just enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with nice homemade rusks from the coffee station. In the cold winters, guests will enjoy the lounge fireplace. Prepare meals in a fully equipped kitchen or have a nice summertime braai under the stars. Meals are served prior to arrangement. Safe parking is available.
